What with illness, a party, a march, bad weather and dentistry we've spent quite a few weekends in Auckland over the last two months. We took a short walk along Meola reef at the weekend. It's a long lava flow from Three Kings Volcano. Good views of kite surfing in Auckland Harbour.

Browsing through some photos the other day we found pictures of a Christmas-time walk; mince pies, mulled wine and Richard covered in mud. And yesterday it felt even colder on the cub walk up to the Norfolk Arms! Great to read your blogs and see the wonderful outings you have had in NZ. Simon and Shelagh.
